During this course, you will get into several unusual attitudes and learn how to properly recover. In addition, you will practice stall/spin awareness and actually practice entering and exiting spins. Every pilot should receive this type of training, as it could one day save your life.
Every CFI applicant needs a spin endorsement prior to their checkride. In this course, you will not only learn in depth about what spins are, how/where they occur, and how to recover, you will also learn how to teach these concepts to your future students.
As an introduction to aerobatics, you will learn about safety, regulations, human factors, energy management, and go in depth about each individual basic aerobatic maneuver. Each flight will build upon the last, increasing your G tolerance as you build towards flying a sequence of maneuvers in a row.
Once you have completed the Intro to Aerobatics Course, continue your training by learning how we fly at competitions. In this course, you will learn more advanced aerobatic maneuvers, use of the aerobatic box, what a contest judge is looking for, and sequence development.
During this course, you will learn the difference between landing a tailwheel and tricycle gear aircraft. In addition to learning how to taxi with limited forward visibility, your instructor will teach you how to do both wheel and three-point landings.
Only interested in doing one lesson with us or unsure if these other courses are for you? Take a Super Decathlon Experience Lesson. Working with your instructor, you will brief and fly an introductory lesson where you can try some basic maneuvers or have your instructor demonstrate these for you.
